Customer Insights

What People Say

Most Liked

Customers rave about the ono (delicious) flavors, often feeling transported back to Hawaii with every bite. The mochiko chicken is a fan favorite, frequently selling out due to its popularity. Dishes such as the loco moco are hailed for their bold flavors and quality ingredients, with many patrons driving from far just to savor them. The generous portion sizes often leave enough for another meal, providing great value for the price range of $10-20. Friendly service complements the experience, making it a welcoming spot for solo diners and families alike. Kuli Kuli is a true gem for those craving authentic Hawaiian cuisine in a casual dining setting.

Most Disliked

Some visitors express disappointment over sold-out items, particularly the highly sought-after mochiko chicken. While the food is generally praised, the lack of availability on busy days can be frustrating. A few customers noted longer wait times during peak lunch hours, especially when the dining area gets bustling. The outdoor seating, although charming, may not be as comfortable in cooler weather. While not a widespread issue, a few reviews mentioned that the takeaway can sometimes sacrifice the warmth of freshly cooked meals, although this varies based on ingredient choices. Such feedback is valuable for first-time visitors to consider.

The food here is so ono! 🔥 Every time I eat here I feel like I'm back home. All of the food I've tried so far is great. It is located next to a dive bar so if you plan to dine in (outdoor seating) then lunch would be your best bet.

Food is SO GOOD. I drive 45 minutes out of my way for the loco moco—-so many flavors, quality ingredients. The service is great, too. This place is 5 stars. If you look at other reviews of 1-3 stars it’s from people who haven’t even tried the food. If those weren’t on there (and they shouldn’t be if you haven’t even tried the food!!) then this would be perfect scoring.

I ordered the mochiko chicken for the first time and it was amazing. This is definitely my go to spot in Forest Grove. Some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve ever had.

Awesome food! This was my first time coming here and I was hoping to try Mochiko Chicken for the first time, but alas they were already sold out. A little disappointing, but no big deal. I got the soy garlic fried chicken he offered up and it was so delicious. So crispy! The tuna mac salad was also very good. Big portions here, so definitely makes 2 meals for me. Can't wait to come back and try some other items.

Great location for this Hawaiian food cart, with shared indoor or outdoor seating and easy parking in the pod. I had spam musubi and the chili coconut chicken with tuna mac and rice, and I'll be going back to try the rest of their menu.

The meats were amazing, we tried the mochiko chicken and the braised beef moco. Chicken had a wonderful flavor and crunch to them while the beef was super tender with beautifully developed flavor. Make sure to park close if it's cold outside lol.
